About Peter George

Peter George is an accomplished vocalist, front man, multi-keyboardist, pianist & producer with over 30 years of experience in musical direction with bands performing in concert, club, recording & film situations in every contemporary musical idiom.

Born and raised in New York City, Peter began to absorb the diverse musical influences of 60's rock, pop, jazz, classical & Broadway show music that NY had to offer at a very young age and was leading his own bands and performing by the time he was in 5th grade. Peter attended the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston as an instrumental performance major while studying privately with world reknowned teachers Charles Banacos, in jazz piano improvisation and Shascha Alexandrova, Eddie Watson, Dante Pavon, and David Blaire McCloskey (JFK's vocal therapist) in jazz, rock, and opera vocal stylings.

Peter began performing with successful Boston bands and working full time in short order. He went on to build a sterling reputation as a "Musician's Musician" forming and leading some of New England's most famed club, concert, recording and commercial bands backing name acts such as The Drifters, 5 Satins, Jr. Walker & the All-Stars and others that included musicians who went on to tour with Sting, Journey, Miles Davis, Santana & many others.

Peter came to Florida in late 2005, where he has quickly become one of Orlando's most sought after singing/multi-keyboardists for hire as well as one of the best vocal piano bar performers in the club, resort and convention industry. Peter has shared the concert stage with Jimmy Buffet, Inner Circle, Rick Derringer, Vicky Sue Robinson and many other international acts.

In 2008 Peter became the musical director for tribute artist Dwight Icenhower, one of the country's best Elvis Presley impersonators and has also developed his own high quality tributes to Tom Jones.
